For the fourth time, you’d come to visit the Glenn Dragon named Aditti and her Faerie guardian Mae. And for the first time, both were waiting near the portal as if they had been anticipating your arrival with genuine eagerness. Mae’s spiraling locks bounced and bobbed as she flitted about Aditti. You quirked a brow, taking a few steps towards Aditti. The adolescent flashed a big, toothy smile which allowed you to view fully her intimidating set of teeth.
Fighting back a cringe, you merely smiled back as unassumingly as possible. "Hi Aditti!" In actuality, you were excited to see the dragon. Once again, you were amazed at how she’d grown! Her wings had expanded much, which made you ponder if she was indeed capable of flight. A large swoosh and a quick flutter from the dragon answered the question. Her tail was almost whip-like, and you could only imagine how much it would hurt if it accidentally came in unintentionally rough contact with one’s body.. You looked back to Aditti. "Eep!" Mae had just recently alighted upon your shoulder. Leaning close, she began to whisper quietly to you, and it almost tickled your ear as she did so. "She’s almost a full-fledged air dragon! Just look at how her wings have developed!" Again you quirked an eyebrow. It was awkward moments like this which made you wonder of the Fae-creature’s sanity. She seemed so enthusiastic about Aditti’s growth that it was unnatural. Still, Aditti was an impressive creature. Infact, as she started towards you, you noticed another thing: her scales had changed slightly in color, and had become a bit more blue. It wasn’t a bad thing - she still blended with her environment which was ebony and lilac. She was a shade between.
"Hello." Aditti’s smile had been refined somewhat. She seemed so much more mature than when you’d last been to visit them both. Mae promptly fluttered off, translucent wings beating the air so quickly that they were merely a blur. Though, something told you that actually moving them wasn’t necessary… "So, how has Mae been treating you?" Mae seemed to pause as she turned to you, lower jaw dropped so that her mouth hung open rather impolitely. The Faerie then closed her mouth, narrowed her eyes, and pursed her lips as she glared. It was then that Aditti caught on.
"Well, you know, same old same old.." The dragon spoke with surprising eloquence, and Mae’s eyes widened. "UGH! THE BOTH OF YOU!" She huffed off, disappearing in a blink of temporarily blinding lavender light. "Ah, yes, humor. It’s wonderful, isn’t it?" Aditti smirked as she said it. You simply nodded. "Aren’t you lonely here?" The dragon’s smile faded a bit. "Well, yes, sometimes. But Mae assures me that I’ll get to meet other Glenn Dragons when I’m a bit older." As if she wasn't aged adequately already. "Well, you seem old enough to me.." Aditti smiled for a final time. Then, another flash appeared somewhere off in the distance - Mae. "Erk! Well, you’d better get going before she gets back…" The dragon gave a cautious look over her left shoulder before she shuffled you into the portal.
